Jacob Kennedy

Jacob Kennedy currently serves as Cybersecurity Counsel at Yahoo since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jacob was with Alegeus from September 2019 to April 2024, where responsibilities included advising on data privacy laws such as HIPAA, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, CPI, and GDPR, while collaborating with the sales team to balance growth and risk. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Counsel and Privacy Officer at Rubin Pomerleau, focusing on immigration and criminal defense law, and a summer legal intern position at National Grid. Jacob's early career includes contributions as an Assistant Producer and Research Assistant for a legal radio program and as a summer law clerk at CULIK LAW PC. Jacob served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 2009 to 2012.
