Jie Yang

Jie (Jeremy) Yang, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice President of Value Creation at Yakar Partners since April 2024, focusing on value investing across diversified asset classes. Previously, Jie held the position of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from May 2022 to April 2024, specializing in growth strategy and marketing analytics within the consumer, retail, and tech sectors. Before that, Jie was the Director of Strategy and Transactions at EY-Parthenon, managing operations and supply chain initiatives from September 2019 to May 2022. Experience also includes a managerial role in data science at Staples, where Jie worked on supply chain optimization, and various internships at Sabre Corporation, Roland Berger, and Nokia Bell Labs, focusing on advanced analytics and corporate strategy. Jie earned a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems Analysis from Northwestern University and a BS in Construction Engineering Management from Tianjin University.
