Mary Katherine Solomon

Mary Katherine Solomon is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in safety, quality improvement, and nursing education. Currently serving as a Safety and Quality Specialist III at Yale New Haven Health since 2016, Mary Katherine plays a vital role in overseeing projects to enhance departmental performance and support clinical management. As a Nurse Resident Facilitator with the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program, Mary Katherine has designed educational content aimed at improving nursing quality and safety while significantly reducing nurse turnover. Previously, experience includes roles as a Clinical Nurse III and Preceptor, providing patient care and leading new nursing staff.
