Ronald Steed

Ronald Steed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, community service, and public speaking. Currently serving as a Chaplain at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital since June 2023, Ronald has been a Deacon in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut since 2014. Previous roles include Deputy Director for Housing Programs at THE NEW LONDON HOMELESS HOSPITALITY CENTER, INC., and Senior Advisor at Rite Solutions. Ronald has also held leadership positions such as President of the Board of Directors at the Homeless Hospitality Center of New London and Principal at UpScope Consulting Group, LLC. Ronald’s military background includes serving as Commodore of Submarine Squadron Two in the United States Navy, where Ronald demonstrated strong decision-making and mentoring skills. Educational credentials encompass a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
