Fred Borrelli

Fred Borrelli serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina, overseeing a budget of $750 million and managing a workforce of 1,500, including approximately 1,500 providers in its academic arm. Previously, Fred held dual roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Yale University, directing operations amidst a growing labor force and increasingly complex centralized services. Fred's earlier experience includes serving as Vice Chair of Finance and Administration at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Educationally, Fred possesses an MBA in Finance/Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Medical/Health Management from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
