Marisa Henriques Figueira

Marisa Henriques Figueira, M.A., has served as the Director of Operations for the Yale College Dean’s Office and Faculty of Arts and Sciences since December 2007. Figueira's extensive experience at Yale includes roles such as Director and Assistant Director of Employee Relations, HR Generalist, and Diversity Coordinator for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, where initiatives focused on advancing diversity within the workforce. Prior to Yale, Figueira worked as a Human Resources & Program Assistant at Carolina Youth Development Center and as an Assistant Program Coordinator at Rutgers University’s Institute on Ethnicity, Culture & the Modern Experience. Figueira holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, Journalism, and History from Rutgers University - Newark.
