Rex Ying

Rex Ying is an accomplished professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Yale University since August 2022 and as a Founding Engineer at Kumo.AI since August 2021. Previously, Rex gained valuable experience through various research internships at DeepMind, Facebook, and Pinterest, focusing on graph networks, recommender systems, and algorithm simulation. Earlier roles at Google involved developing a pipeline for de-biasing user ratings and identifying web-scrapers, while teaching assistant positions at Duke University included support for operating systems and software design courses.
