Sarah Shapiro is currently a Disability Peer Mentor at Yale University and a Public School Partnerships Intern with Yale Pathways, where significant contributions include coordinating programs for over 1,900 New Haven public school students. As Internal President of the Yale Undergraduate Legal Aid Association, Sarah led a large volunteer and pre-law organization, orchestrating numerous events and advocacy initiatives. In previous roles, including Co-President of the Yale Environmental Education Collaborative and Outreach Director for Sawalo, Sarah established partnerships and promoted educational accessibility. A co-founder of The Covid NineTEEN Project, Sarah developed a nonprofit that served thousands of students globally. Educationally, Sarah is pursuing dual degrees in American Studies and Education Studies at Yale University.
