Ashley Dean

Ashley Dean is a seasoned professional in environmental management and communications, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Collaborative Initiatives at Yampa Valley Sustainability Council since September 2022. Dean plays a key role in implementing the Routt County Climate Action Plan and oversees various communications related to the initiative. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Marketing and Sales at Spiriterra Vineyards, where strategic marketing and sales efforts were led, and as the Communications & External Affairs Manager at Stanford University's Center on Food Security and the Environment, focusing on outreach and media strategies. Additional roles at Stanford University and with Earthride and Oceanic Society highlight extensive expertise in public affairs, environmental education, and program management. Dean holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on EcoEntrepreneurship from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
