Kirill Cherkashin

Kirill Cherkashin is a seasoned data science professional currently serving as the Data Science Team Lead at Yandex since July 2022. Prior to this role, Kirill held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Sberbank from April 2020 to June 2022 and worked as a Senior Researcher at the Federal Research Center of Agrarian Economy and Social Development of Rural Areas from April 2017 to April 2020. Kirill began an academic career as an Assistant at the State University of Land Use Planning, where employment lasted from November 2012 to April 2017. Kirill earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the same university, completing the degree in 2017.
