Rachel Balkovec

Rachel Balkovec is a prominent figure in baseball, currently serving as the Director of Player Development for the Miami Marlins and loanDepot park since January 2024. Previously, Rachel worked with the New York Yankees from January 2020, holding roles as Minor League Hitting Coach and Minor League Manager. Rachel's earlier experience includes coaching for the Dutch National Baseball and Softball programs, as well as serving as the Latin American Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Houston Astros. With a strong background in strength and conditioning, Rachel held various positions with teams like the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, and Arizona State University. Rachel holds advanced degrees in Biomechanics and Sports Administration, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
