Emory Al-Imam is the current Chief Technology Officer at yap.TV. Emory previously served as Senior Software Engineer, iOS at Yap.tv from January 2012 to July 2013. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder and CTO of Stag Dining Group from October 2010 to December 2015.

Al-Imam has extensive experience in the technology and dining industries. As CTO of yap.TV, they oversee all technology operations and is responsible for the company's overall technical strategy. At Yap.tv, they led the development of the company's iOS app, which delivers personalized media streams around entertainment content to consumers worldwide.

As Co-Founder and CTO of Stag Dining Group, Al-Imam was responsible for the overall technical strategy and operation of the company. Emory oversaw the development of the company's creative cuisine, which was matched with an eclectic atmosphere of art and music. Emory also collaborated with artisan winemakers, brewers and mixologists in the Bay Area to bring extraordinary evenings together.

Al-Imam is a highly skilled technologist with a passion for dining and entertaining. Emory's experience in both industries makes him uniquely qualified to lead yap.TV into the future.

Emory Al-Imam has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University. Emory also has a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco Systems, Inc.

They are on a team with and Oliver Wagner - Chief Design Officer. Emory Al-Imam reports to Trevor Stout, CEO.
