Rachel Handschke

Rachel Handschke has over 14 years of experience in the technology industry. Rachel started their career in 2006 as a Software Support Analyst at Axium, where they mentored and trained colleagues on MS SQL and how to analyze data issues. Rachel then moved up to Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consulting Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager. In 2014, they joined Deltek as a Sr. Director of Technical Consulting, where they led a team of 100+ active dev projects for clients on Deltek's Vantagepoint, Vision, Ajera, Maconomy and Talent products. Rachel grew the team from 7 to 35 employees and was responsible for meeting utilization, revenue and metric targets for billable projects as well as managing internal initiatives. In 2020, they joined YAPI as the Head of Technology.

Rachel Handschke obtained a Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering from Portland State University. Rachel then earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: General Management from Portland State University - School of Business. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business. Additionally, Rachel Handschke obtained a Leadership Engagement with Awesome People (LEAP) certification from Deltek in September 2019.
