Gökhan Erün

Gökhan Erün is currently the CEO at Yapı Kredi. Gökhan has held this position since 2018. Prior to that, they were the CEO at Garanti Emeklilik from 2004 to 2005, and the Deputy CEO/ Head of CIB at Garanti Bankası from 2005 to 2018. Gökhan started their career at Garanti Bank in 1994 as an SVP and held that position until 2004 when they left to become the CEO at Garanti Emeklilik.

Gökhan Erün's educational career began at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi. Gökhan then attended Istanbul Technical University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After working for a few years, they decided to pursue an MBA at Yeditepe University. Finally, they completed the Advanced Management Program for Overseas Bankers at The Wharton School.
