George Roche

George Roche has a diverse work experience in the fields of venture capital, agriculture, and biotechnology. George is currently an Investment Director at Yara Growth Ventures, where they are responsible for building a global portfolio of agriculture and green hydrogen companies. George has led or worked on several investment deals, including Agrolend, Jai Kisan, Tarfin, Boomitra, H2Pro, Apollo Agriculture, SP Ventures, and AP Ventures. Previously, George worked as a Senior Investment Manager at Yara Growth Ventures, investing in agri-food and hydrogen technology startups and funds.

Before joining Yara Growth Ventures, George held positions at Tarfin as a Board Observer, Yara International as a Senior Manager, and Loop Genomics as a Strategy and Digital Marketing Consultant. George also founded the Microbiome Meetup, a community of scientists, investors, and enthusiasts of the microbiome. Additionally, they worked as a Business Development Consultant at Innit, a Digital Marketing Consultant at AnimalBiome, and as a Contributing Writer for Nature Research.
