Alessandra Guerrieri

Alessandra Guerrieri is a Plant Molecular Researcher and Project Manager at Yara International since August 2022, focusing on improving plant resistance to abiotic stresses through experimental planning and data analysis. Previously, Alessandra held a Plant Breeding Internship at Hobaho by Dümmen Orange, where responsibilities included executing crossings of Allium and conducting bioassays. Alessandra completed a PhD at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, investigating plant metabolites in tomatoes under various stresses and developing advanced genetic engineering techniques. Early experiences include a QA Internship at Gromart S.p.A., involving quality control analyses, and participation in a summer research project at Università degli Studi di Torino, focused on pathogen identification in olive trees. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Torino and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Università di Pisa.
