Roger Steen

Roger Steen serves as the Head of Security and Emergency Preparedness and Vice President at Yara International since December 2016, overseeing a comprehensive security and emergency response department. Steen has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the Norwegian Business and Industry Security Council since May 2023, advising on crime prevention for the Norwegian business sector. With prior experience at NVE in energy security and preparedness and various roles at the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning, Steen possesses extensive expertise in crisis management, infrastructure protection, and risk analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with several leadership and crisis management courses from esteemed institutions including Harvard and NATO.
