Anwar al Quraan

Anwar Al Quraan currently serves as the chairman of the economics department at Yarmouk University, where responsibilities include teaching various graduate and undergraduate courses in economic theory, policy, research methodology, and econometrics since January 2017. Prior to this role, Anwar held several significant positions, including Director of Research and Industrial Policies at the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting from July 2012 to January 2017, and chairperson of the economics department at Yarmouk University during two separate tenures. Anwar's background also includes extensive experience as a senior economic expert with the Planning and Statistical Authority in Qatar and various academic roles in different universities. Anwar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Economy from The University of Texas at Dallas, along with multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in economics.
