Aditya Shankar

Aditya Shankar is a skilled software engineer currently working at Yarn (YC W24) since September 2024. Previously, Aditya served as a Senior Software Engineer at Duolingo from December 2020 to June 2024 and held various positions, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer I/II, at Uber between September 2016 and November 2020. Aditya also gained experience as a Freelance Writer for Points in Case in 2018 and as a writer for The Every Three Weekly from 2014 to 2016. Aditya began a career in software engineering with internships at Uber and EMC Isilon Systems in 2015 and 2014, respectively, along with a performance engineering internship at Red Hat in 2013. Aditya holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution (2012-2015), following a high school diploma from Westford Academy (2008-2012).
