Benjamin Buckle

Benjamin Buckle has extensive work experience in the finance sector. Benjamin is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Yarra Trams since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Pacific Metal Group Pty Ltd from October 2022 to January 2023.

Benjamin has also worked at Yarra Trams in various roles, including Head of Commercial Finance, Operations and Revenue from August 2020 to October 2022, Finance Business Partner Rolling Stock from January 2018 to August 2020, Manager Budgeting and Reporting from May 2015 to December 2017, and Senior Financial Advisor Infrastructure from May 2011 to April 2015.

Before joining Yarra Trams, Benjamin worked as an Area Accountant at Liberty Travel from August 2009 to August 2010 and at Flight Centre Travel Group (New Zealand) from January 2007 to July 2009. Benjamin started their career as a Senior Auditor at BDO from May 2005 to December 2006.

Benjamin Buckle completed their education in accounting, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University of Wellington in 2005. Benjamin further pursued their studies with a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the same university in 2006. Later, they completed the CPA Australia Program, becoming a Certified Practising Accountant in 2016.
