Athene Ponni is an accomplished data engineering and analytics professional with extensive experience in leading data-driven initiatives across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Data Engineering and Analytics at Chalhoub Group since September 2019, Athene plays a critical role in driving supply chain transformation from a data perspective. Prior experience includes significant contributions to Emirates, where Athene developed a new Commercial Data Lake and led teams to enhance incentive management systems. Previous roles encompass data analysis and engineering positions at Bank of America and World Bank Group, demonstrating a strong background in PL/SQL development, requirement elicitation, and business solution implementation. Athene holds a B-Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut.
