Roman Popov

Roman Popov has a diverse work experience in various roles. Roman is currently working as a Senior Product Manager at Ясно since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager / Product Owner at Roborace from January 2021 to June 2022. There, they developed and launched the first version of a product for automating show production, which resulted in a significant reduction in costs.

Before joining Roborace, Roman worked at Experiment X as a Product Manager & Head of UX/UI from October 2017 to January 2021. During their time there, they successfully created and launched an ecosystem of B2B applications for a portable diagnostic device, enabling the company to pass the registration stage for European markets and sell a significant number of devices.

Roman also has experience in founding and leading startups. Roman co-founded Qlothes, a fashion startup, where they served as a Product Owner / Design Director from November 2016 to September 2017. Roman was able to create an MVP, win a hackathon, obtain the first customer, and raise pre-seed funding within a short period of time.

Additionally, Roman worked at Red Keds Creative Agency, where they held multiple positions. Roman started as a Designer from March 2012 to July 2013, creating design concepts and UX/UI products for various brands. Roman then became an Art Director from July 2013 to January 2014, managing and educating the internal team and participating in tender offers. Finally, they were promoted to Chief Design Officer from January 2014 to February 2015, overseeing the department and working with top clients.

Roman Popov earned a specialist degree in Advertising from РГУТИС (Russian State University of Trade and Economics) from 2003 to 2008. In January 2022, they obtained a certification in "Simulator for Learning Data-Driven Product Management and Growth" from GoPractice, Inc.
