Mahendra Raju

Mahendra Raju has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mahendra is currently employed as the Assistant General Manager - International Business and Strategy at YCSPL since November 2022.

Prior to their current role, Mahendra worked at RMSI for 9 years. Mahendra held the position of Manager Business Development from January 2017 to November 2022. Before that, they served as an Assistant Manager - Business Development from July 2013 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for identifying potential business opportunities in various areas such as mining resources governance, natural resources management, climate change, disaster risk management, e-governance, and GIS software development in Africa and India. Mahendra managed key accounts and partners and maintained a structured analysis of target markets and clients using Zoho CRM.

Before joining RMSI, Mahendra worked as a Project Lead - GIS at RMSI Pvt. Ltd. from August 2008 to March 2012. Prior to that, they held the position of Environmental - GIS Engineer at JMS (P) Limited from November 2007 to August 2008 and at Rajasthan State Pollution and Control Board (RSPCB), Jaipur from September 2006 to October 2007 on a contract basis.

Mahendra Raju has a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. Mahendra also holds a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Andhra University. Mahendra has acquired several additional certifications including "Introduction to Population Grids and their Integration with Remote Sensing Data for Sustainable Development and Disaster Management" from NASA Applied Remote Sensing Training Program (ARSET) in April 2021, "Best Talent Reward - 'Gold Star 2017'" from RMSI in 2017, "Natural Resources for Sustainable Development" from the Sustainable Development Solutions Network in December 2016, "Sustainability Training and E-Learning Program (STEP)" from the IFC - International Finance Corporation in October 2016, "Introductory Course on Climate Change" from the United Nations Institute for Training & Research - UNITAR in 2016, and "Business English Writing Skills" from the British Council in 2015.
