Jenye Fletcher

Jenye Fletcher is a seasoned educator and leader with extensive experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional development. Currently, Jenye serves as Co-Founder of The Butterfly Collective and Founder and Lead Coach at Brave Works Collaborative, focusing on empowering leaders and teams to foster resilient communities. In the role of Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Year Up since September 2021, Jenye has advanced initiatives that enhance organizational performance. Previous positions include Director of Professional Development at the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education and Align Manager at District of Columbia Public Schools, where Jenye designed trainings, facilitated observations, and provided coaching to enhance instructional quality. Jenye holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Communications from Howard University and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certification from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
