Juan Antonio Santamaria

Juan Antonio Santamaria is an experienced professional in alumni advancement and employment placement, currently serving as the Associate Director of Alumni Advancement with the Alumni Relations Team at Year Up since February 2017. Previously, Juan held the position of Employment Placement Manager and Employment Placement Specialist at Year Up Bay Area Program Team, where responsibilities included developing partnerships, facilitating career development workshops, and driving organizational metrics to support graduates’ career pursuits. Prior experience also includes a Project Coordinator Internship at Facebook, where project coordination and cross-functional teamwork were emphasized, and a Crew Member position at Trader Joe's focused on customer service excellence. Juan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Latina/o Studies from San Francisco State University and has earned certifications in Information Technology and Project Management through Year Up United.
