Maren Peterson

Maren Peterson serves as the Senior Director of Institutional Giving at Year Up, having progressed through multiple roles within the organization since June 2016. Prior to this, Maren was a Marketing Coordinator at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, creating marketing strategies for the Nonprofit Management and Leadership Certificate Program. Previous experiences include a Senior Summer Fellow position at New Sector Alliance, where Maren mentored undergraduate students, and an MBA internship at Boston Public Schools focused on leadership development program assessments. Maren's career also features roles at American Pacific International School, United Planet, and teaching English at Boston Life. Maren holds an MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Studies from Augustana University, along with a study abroad experience in Thailand.
