Tim Porter

Tim Porter serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Year Up United, leading the Core Technology team responsible for various critical systems including CRM, financial applications, and security. With extensive experience in enterprise applications, architecture, and IT security, Tim has held notable positions such as Interim Co-CIO at Year Up and Senior Director at CIRCOR International, where leadership in IT operations and project management was fundamental. Tim is also a self-employed screenwriter, with a portfolio that includes a reimagining of the American Revolution. Tim holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Management Certificate from Boston University, complemented by a solid technical background from early career roles at the University of Virginia and WS Development.
