Michelle Liu, CPA, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Finance at Yee Hong Centre For Geriatric Care since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Director of Finance at Kensington Health from February 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included supporting financial management and implementing new financial systems. Michelle also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Kensington Health, overseeing various financial operations such as audits and external reporting. Earlier experience includes a role as Financial Business Manager at University Health Network, managing the budget process for Toronto Western Hospital and collaborating with the executive team on strategic initiatives. Michelle's career began as a Senior Business Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, focusing on the implementation of Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from Schulich School of Business at York University, alongside multiple degrees in Chemistry from Nankai University and a PhD from the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing.
