Joel Higiro

Joel Higiro is an accomplished professional in the field of information technology and software development. Currently serving as the Innovation and Technical Consulting Lead at Huzalabs since July 2024 and co-founding Yegobox while also working as a Full Stack Developer, Joel brings a wealth of experience to both roles. Prior to these positions, Joel completed a Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, where studies were conducted from August 2022 to May 2024, and gained valuable experience as a Software Developer at the University of Rwanda in 2021. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Rwanda College of Science and Technology, earned between 2017 and 2021.
