Melissa Syer

Melissa Syer currently serves as the Executive Director at the Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Departmental Capital Planner at the Government of the Northwest Territories starting in May 2019. Melissa has also had an extensive career in the military, serving as a Naval Officer at the Department of National Defence with positions such as Underwater Warfare Officer at HMCS Calgary and Bridge Watch Keeper at HMCS Algonquin.
