Christi Beals has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christi currently holds the position of Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Yellowstone Surgery Center. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Rimrock from 2016 to 2022. Christi also held various roles at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, including Chief Strategy & HR Officer and Chief Development Officer, during the period from 2013 to 2016. In their earlier career, they worked at St. Vincent Healthcare, where they held positions such as Senior Director of Nursing, Director of the Orthopedic Service Line, Nurse Manager of the Orthopedics Department, and Staff Nurse/Nurse Recruiter.
Christi Beals holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Montana State University-Bozeman. Christi also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary.

Founded in 2002, Yellowstone Surgery Center is owned and operated jointly by 50 independent physicians and SCL/Intermountain Health. We offer patients the opportunity to undergo outpatient surgical procedures and pain services in a warm and friendly environment. In 2005 the 23-Hour Overnight Stay Program was added with great success. Two years later 6,000 square feet was added to our downtown location, expanding the facility to 23,000 square feet. In 2008, Yellowstone Surgery Center joined Ortho Montana and SCL/Intermountain Health to become the third partner of AMP, Athletic Medicine & Performance. This collaboration provides sports medicine services in the communities of Southeast Montana since 1991. The AMP staff includes Sports Physicians, Athletic Trainers and Rehabilitation Specialists. In January of 2017, Yellowstone Surgery Center opened the doors to our second location at the Montana Hip and Knee Center, located off Zoo Drive Exit on I-90. Yellowstone Surgery Center West is a collaborative effort between Yellowstone Surgery Center, Ortho Montana and SCL Health. The West location at 9,000 square feet specializes in only total joint replacements. In 2021 the MACC was renamed the Montana Hip & Knee Center. Yellowstone Surgery Center is fortunate to utilize state-of-the-art equipment and have a multi-specialty surgical staff. This includes providing surgeries for pediatrics in need of ENT and some orthopedics as part of our YSC Kids program.
