Carmen Amara

Carmen Amara is an accomplished HR executive currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Yelp since January 2022. Previously, Carmen held the position of Vice President of Global People Operations & Development at eBay from November 2014 to January 2022, where responsibilities included designing human capital strategies and coaching executives to enhance talent and leadership capabilities. Prior to eBay, Carmen was the HR Director for Merchandising Services at The Home Depot, overseeing strategic HR direction for approximately 14,000 employees. Carmen also held various HR roles at The Home Depot, including Sr. Human Resources Manager and Manager of Organizational Effectiveness.
