Frank Onyambu

Frank is a laboratory scientist with 9 years experience in infectious disease research. He is interested in applying molecular biology tools to improve disease diagnosis and to increase access within resource-limited settings. Previous appointments include five years at the University of Nairobi's Centres for Excellence in HIV Medicine, where Frank led a team that established HIV drug resistance testing using Sanger sequencing. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about mentorship and creating training opportunities for upcoming African scientists.
