Mert Baki

Mert Baki has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mert started their career as an Analyst at ARAMA Management Consulting, where they monitored competitor activities and provided quantitative analyses. Mert then moved on to Migros Ticaret A.Ş., where they worked as a Business Development Specialist, analyzing new business opportunities and managing gift cards. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Yemeksepeti, where they have held various roles, including Chief Business Development Officer and Business Development Director. In these roles, they were responsible for coordinating due diligence for acquisitions, developing go-to-market strategies, managing project teams, and overseeing daily operations. Mert has also served as an International Expansion & Business Development Manager and a Product & Business Development Specialist at Yemeksepeti, where they handled project management, P&L responsibility, and the implementation of revenue-generating projects.

Mert Baki attended Stanford University in 2017, where they studied Innovation & Growth. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Sabanci University between 2006 and 2008. Mert completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University from 2002 to 2006. Mert Baki also received an Honor diploma in Sciences from Galatasaray Lisesi, which they attended from 1994 to 2002.
