Hülya Alkan

Hülya Alkan has worked in a variety of roles in the content and media industry since 2002. Hülya began their career as a Web Content Editor for Medyanova A.S., where they were responsible for editing, blog management, and mailing newsletters. In 2003, they moved to Dogan Online DOL, where they were a Web Content Manager, developing and implementing content programming of ekolay.net news and art and culture channels. Between 2008 and 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University's Management of Performing Arts Department. During this time, they also worked as a Web Content Editor for Milliyet, preparing newsletters and managing content. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Content Manager of Bing Applications at Microsoft, launching and developing Bing Apps in Turkey and managing Bing News, Sport, and Finance Applications. Since 2017, they have been the Chief Content Officer at Yeniben, and in 2021, they took on the same role at Newlyme.

Hülya Alkan completed their Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication Systems at Istanbul Bilgi University from 1997 to 2002. Hülya then earned their Master's degree in Cinema and Television at Dokuz Eylul University from 2004 to 2007.
