Prabod Prasanga

Prabod Prasanga has a diverse work experience in the field of integration consulting and software engineering. Prabod started their career at SCoRe Lab as a Software Engineer Intern, where they worked on projects such as Bankz, Homez, Locationz, and participated in mentoring Google Code-In. Prabod also served as a Firefox Student Ambassador during this time. Prabod then joined KBSL Information Technologies Limited as an Associate Software Engineer, where they worked on reporting tools for Dialog GSM and AIC.

Later, Prabod joined Mitra Innovation, initially as a Senior Software Engineer, working on a middleware integration project for the University of Exeter in the UK, using WSO2 APIM and AWS Lambda. Prabod also worked as a DevOps Engineer for Buzz Bingo's Xamarin app, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Microsoft App Center. Prabod continued their career at Mitra Innovation as a Technical Lead, managing the Middleware Integration Platform for CRDB Bank in Tanzania and UgHub - Nita in Uganda, using various technologies such as WSO2 Micro Integrator and API Manager.

Prabod then joined Chakray Consulting, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for middleware integration platforms for CRDB Bank in Tanzania and UgHub - Nita in Uganda. Prabod worked with clients to resolve technical dependencies and blockers, implemented integration solutions and automation tests using WSO2 and other technologies.

Most recently, Prabod joined Yenlo as an Integration Consultant. In this role, they worked on projects such as Datacon in the Netherlands and ACWA Power in the UAE. Prabod implemented and configured WSO2 products, created environments in Azure stack, and utilized various tools like Elastic Cloud, Metricbeats, and Filebeats for data monitoring.

Throughout their career, Prabod has gained expertise in technologies such as WSO2, Azure, Jenkins, Java, JavaScript, Shell script, and Cucumber automation tests. Prabod has a solid background in integration consulting, middleware platforms, and DevOps practices.

Prabod Prasanga's education history begins with their completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing. Prabod attended this institution from 2013 to 2016, focusing on computer programming. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, Prabod attended H/Ruhunu Vijayaba National College in Beliatta, where they received an Advanced Level education with a concentration in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Prabod has also obtained several certifications. In May 2018, they became a WSO2 Certified ESB 5 Developer. More recently, in September 2022, they earned the titles of WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer - V4 - Micro Integrator and WSO2 Certified API Manager Practitioner - V4 - Micro Integrator, both from WSO2.
