Chris Williams

Chris Williams is an experienced professional in category management with a strong background in the agricultural and retail sectors. Currently serving as a Category Manager at Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd since November 2021, Chris previously held several roles at Tesco from September 2016 to November 2021, including Category Planning Manager for Bakery, Trade Planning Manager for Baby, Beauty and Toiletries, and Buyer for Chilled Vegetables. In these positions, responsibilities included developing category strategies, data analysis, supplier management, and promotional planning. Prior experience at KWS UK Ltd involved breeding new varieties of wheat and barley, while earlier roles included an Assistant Agronomist at Eurofins and Park Ranger at Derby City Council. Chris holds a Master’s Degree focusing on parasitic weeds from The University of Sheffield, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the same institution.
