Michael Watchman

Michael Watchman has extensive experience in logistics and management, currently serving as Head of Logistics at Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd since December 2020. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Dixons Carphone, overseeing operations at the Newark RDC as General Manager from June 2015 to December 2020. Previously, Michael was General Manager at DHL, managing the national storage and distribution contract for Thornton’s confectionery from June 2010 to June 2015, and providing strategic oversight for the Primary Fleet and multiple distribution centers. Michael’s early career includes a role as General Manager at Tradeteam from May 2006 to June 2011, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day operations and profit and loss management. Michael also served as Business Improvement Manager at Tradeteam, successfully delivering a turnaround plan for a challenging site, improving budgeted metrics significantly while implementing best practices across various operational aspects.
