Jake Shearman

Jake Shearman has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Jake is currently serving as the Chief Blockchain Officer at Yepple, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FactSet as a Software Engineer from July 2019 to May 2022. Before joining FactSet, Jake had an internship at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where they worked as a Tactical Software Engineer Intern, primarily focusing on Java development and code peer review from May 2018 to August 2018. Jake also had a software engineer internship at Traumasoft in 2017, where they primarily worked on backend web development using PHP and MySQL, and took the lead on several projects. Jake's early work experience includes owning and programming for Sixo Studios, LLC, an iOS development company, where they focused on developing entertainment applications for the iPhone using the Swift programming language.

Jake Shearman attended the University of Connecticut from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering. Jake focused on software development and design, and also pursued a minor in Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Jake obtained various certifications in subjects such as AI in Fintech, Behavioral Finance, Blockchain, Digital Transformation, and Data Science of Economics, Banking, and Finance from LinkedIn in June 2021.
