Austin Stout started their work experience as a Forest Firefighter/Sawyer at GFP Emergency Services in 2014. In this role, they were responsible for clearing paths for grounds crew and firefighters using chainsaws.
Following that, they worked as a Geoanalytical Laboratory Assistant at Washington State University from 2015 to 2017.
In 2018, Austin joined Voi Technology, where they held several roles. Austin started as a Vehicle Operations Team Leader from September 2018 to March 2019. Then, they transitioned to a Product Manager role, specifically focusing on Vehicle Development from March to August 2019.
From August 2019 to March 2020, Austin served as a Cross-functional Coordinator, supporting the hardware engineering department with tests, rollouts, and technical investigations. After that, they became a Product Manager for the Vehicle Squad and was responsible for defining and coordinating products related to tooling, infrastructure, and system support for local mechanics. Austin also troubleshooted and investigated local issues related to IoT communications and vehicle behavior.
From November 2020 to August 2022, Austin continued as a Product Manager at Voi Technology, specifically focusing on R&D Partnerships.
Most recently, Austin joined Yepstr in 2022 as a Senior Product Manager.
Austin Stout attended Washington State University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology/Earth Science and Environmental Science. Since 2017, they have been studying Geological Sciences at Stockholm University.
