Santiago Morales Bernal

Santiago Morales Bernal has worked in various roles since 2016. Santiago began their career at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid as an IT services and helpdesk support, where they were responsible for network and IT equipment maintenance, servers installation and management, and website renewal and maintenance. In 2016, they also served as President of Local BEST Group Madrid Carlos III, representing the local BEST group at local and international level with almost 40 members, and leading and coordinating all projects carried out throughout the year. From 2017 to 2019, Santiago worked at IBM as an IT Specialist, designing, creating, automating and deploying IT solutions in areas related to mobile, social and analytics in the national IBM network. Santiago also had high experience in the IBM Cloud environment and development of solutions that make use of artificial intelligence and cognitive functions. In 2019, Santiago joined Telefónica as a Global Video Platform architecture and engineering, where they analyzed and designed optimal solutions in terms of deployment, services dimensioning and components integration for the Video Platform. Currently, Santiago is a Cloud & Video Engineer at YBVR.

Santiago Morales Bernal completed a Grado en Ingeniería in Sistemas Audiovisuales at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2013 to 2019. Santiago then obtained an Innovation, Design and Development Technician degree at Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes in 2019. Prior to this, Santiago completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Santiago has obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Fundación Innovación Bankinter, SAS, Vodafone, and KeepCoding™ between 2019 and 2020.
