Vazgen Hakobjanyan

Vazgen Hakobjanyan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and technology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Yerevan State University since February 2021, Vazgen teaches Introduction to Machine Learning in the Masters Program. As Founder and CEO of The Magical Labs since October 2020, Vazgen addresses complex challenges at the intersection of mathematics, biology, physics, and engineering. Additionally, Vazgen is a Partner at SmartGateVC, focusing on investments in AI, IoT, and security, and has been a Board Member at YerevaNN, contributing to AI and ML research in Armenia. Previous roles include Technical Advisor at The Crowdfunding Formula, Board Member at Gate42, and Co-Founder of Teamable Software. Vazgen's professional journey began as a Software Engineer at Accusoft Pegasus, followed by positions at Sonics and Synopsys. Vazgen holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Yerevan State University.
