Jim McGovern, ICD.D

Jim McGovern has been working in the capital markets for over 30 years. In 1988, they began their career at BMO Capital Markets as a VP Equity Sales. In 1999, they moved to RBC Capital Markets as a Director Equity Sales. In 2010, they became Managing Director at Rival Capital Management Ltd. In 2014, they obtained their ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. In 2015, they joined Fort Capital Partners as a Partner. Most recently, in 2019, they became the CEO & Founder of Yervana, an app and web-based platform connecting adventure-seekers with locals who live for the outdoors.

Jim McGovern holds a designation as an ICD.D, which they earned in 2014-2015 through the Institute of Corporate Directors.
