Aaron Simmons

Aaron Simmons is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in leadership and instructional support. Currently serving as School Director at YES Prep Public Schools - East End since July 2014, Aaron has been instrumental in developing and implementing school-wide programs aimed at enhancing student persistence and overall campus health. Previously, Aaron worked as a Teacher Development Specialist Team Lead with Houston ISD for a year, focusing on providing individualized feedback and coaching to teachers while managing a team of specialists. Aaron's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Texas State University, and prior to current roles, Aaron served as a U.S. History Instructor at YES Prep Public Schools from 2007 to 2013.
