Rachel Reed

Rachel Reed is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of TE Certification at YES Prep Public Schools since September 2024. Prior to this role, Rachel held positions at YES Prep Public Schools from July 2010 to July 2024, including Literacy Specialist and Dean of Instruction, where Rachel collaborated with teachers and staff on literacy projects benefitting over 400 students, including more than 350 English Learners. Rachel also served as an Instructional Coach, focusing on enhancing novice teachers' instructional techniques in English Language Arts and as an English Language Arts Teacher for both 6th and 9th grades, where Rachel's instruction significantly improved college readiness for over 70 students annually. Rachel earned a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Spanish from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2009.
