Tamar Avnet

Tamar Avnet currently serves as the Director of the Sy Syms MBA program at Yeshiva University and as a Blog Contributor for Psychology Today. With extensive experience in academia, Tamar holds the position of Full Professor and Department Chair of Marketing at the Sy Syms School of Business since 2006. Previous roles include Marketing Research Consultant at The Glimpse Group, Consumer Insights Consultant at Ipsos in North America, and Marketing Consultant for the Mobile Marketing Association. Academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Tamar earned a Ph.D. in Business with a focus on Marketing from Columbia University and holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
