Matt Hicks has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt began their career in 2004 as a System Engineer at Cerner Corporation and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they served as a Technical Specialist at Gensler. In 2011, they joined initial.AEC as a Systems Administrator until 2013 when they moved to the Outdoor Industry Association as a SalesForce/CRM Administrator. In 2015, they joined Yeti Cycles as a Senior Technology Manager and later became the Technology & Customer Experience Director.

Matt Hicks attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a BBA with a focus on Management Information Systems. In 2020, they received certification as a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) from Salesforce.
