Alex Drugos

Alex Drugos has extensive experience in information technology operations and systems administration. Alex served as an Information Technology Operations Manager at YETI from 2019, where they managed a system administration/engineering team and handled the administration, upgrade, improvement, and support of VMware ESXi clustered environments. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at Valassis Digital from 2016 to 2019, where they determined hardware specifications, streamlined AD infrastructure, and supported VMware clustered environments in datacenters.

Before joining Valassis Digital, Alex worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at Raymond James Financial, Inc. from 2015 to 2016, where they led a migration project, acted as an application owner for various applications, and administered F5 load balancers. Alex also served as a Senior Network Engineer at BNY Mellon from 2013 to 2015, where they performed detailed analysis of global DMZ infrastructure.

From 2011 to 2013, Alex worked as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at CENX, Inc, where they administered Windows AD environment, Cisco networking equipment, and Sun Fire servers. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Net@Work in 2011, conducting virtual solution planning and server/network infrastructure improvement for clients.

Alex also has experience as a Senior Systems Engineer at Apollo Group from 2007 to 2011, where they improved system uptime and administered a large server environment. Alex began their career as an IT Manager at Shenkman Capital Management from 2005 to 2007, where they built and administered Exchange servers and designed Windows network architecture.
