Amanda Gerards (she/her/hers)

Amanda Gerards has an extensive background in communications and public relations. Amanda is currently working at YETI as a Senior Manager, leading talent engagement and internal communications. Prior to their current role, Amanda was a Senior Employee Communications Manager at YETI.

Before joining YETI, Amanda worked at BCW Global, where they held various roles. Amanda started as a Senior Associate and worked their way up to becoming a Vice President. During their time at BCW Global, Amanda also served as an Account Director (Manager).

Amanda's earlier experience includes working at LDWWgroup as a Public Relations Consultant. Amanda played a key role in developing and executing strategic plans for aerospace manufacturer Bell Helicopter in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Amanda also served as a media contact and handled crisis management.

Before LDWWgroup, Amanda worked at Hill+Knowlton Strategies as an Assistant Account Executive and Fellow. Amanda provided media pitching, monitoring, and campaign support for various clients, including energy, airlines, and hospitality. Amanda also managed the Fellow Program at the Dallas H+K office.

Amanda started their career at Lindsey + Asp Advertising and Public Relations Agency as an Account Executive. Amanda also gained experience through internships at the Oklahoma City Thunder, Saxum, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, and Norman Arts Council.

Overall, Amanda Gerards has a strong background in communications and has held diverse roles in the field. Amanda has experience in talent engagement, employee communications, public relations, media management, crisis mitigation, and campaign support.

Amanda Gerards (she/her/hers) attended the University of Oklahoma from 2008 to 2012. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Enterprise Studies, & Nonprofit Management.
