Chris Porter

Chris Porter has extensive work experience in various roles within the product management, service, and engineering fields. Chris is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management and Insights at YETI since June 2022. Before that, Chris worked as the Service Director at Rad Power Bikes from August 2019 to June 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Boeing, including Senior Category Manager from May 2017 to August 2019, Production Engineering Senior Manager from September 2010 to May 2017, Passenger to Freighter Program Manager from June 2007 to September 2010, Corporate Sponsored Leaders for Manufacturing Fellow from May 2005 to June 2007, Lean Lead from September 2004 to May 2005, Systems Engineer from May 2002 to September 2004, Lead Project Engineer from February 2000 to September 2002, and Design Engineer from February 1997 to February 2000.

Chris Porter has a comprehensive education history. Chris obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Systems with a focus on Manufacturing Systems and Supply Chain Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2005 to 2007. During the same period, they also pursued an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to their time at MIT, Chris completed their undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington between 1993 and 1996. Before attending the University of Washington, they acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Whitworth University, where they studied from 1991 to 1993.
